A Life Spent Looking
I believe the most powerful stories begin with individuals. A single voice, a quiet moment, a faithful servant—these are the threads that, when woven together, reveal the greater tapestry of God's work in the world. My approach to storytelling is grounded in humility, empathy, and presence. I aim to document not just what’s seen, but what’s felt—capturing the texture of daily life, the weight of faith, and the light of hope. In each portrait or frame, I look for the truth of one life to reflect the grace of the whole story.
Over the years, I’ve worked alongside a range of organizations—non-profits, churches, schools, and mission groups—across varied cultures and contexts. What drives me is a deep desire to meet Christians from every corner of the world, to witness the beauty of their faith in action, and to share their stories with others. I believe visual storytelling is not just about images—it’s about connection, understanding, and making known the often unseen work of the gospel.

THE ST. JOHN’S POTTERY
In 2019 I had an opportunity to spend two days at The St. John's Pottery in Collegeville, Minnesota with my good friend and colleague Jason Jaspersen. I went in with my camera, my curiosity, and little else. These images were from my time spent around the kiln documenting the work needed to keep the largest kiln in North America going all day and night.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IN INDONESIA
In 2016, I embarked on a trip with Kingdom Workers to Indonesia with the purpose of documenting a Christian day school that the organization supports. During my visit, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the daily activities of the school, engaging with the students and their dedicated teachers. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to capture moments from their educational journey and showcase the affection they held for their instructors and educational environment.
